John: Wow, it's really coming down out there.

Karen: Yeah, it looks like we're getting a lot of snow.

John: Do you think it will affect the roads?

Karen: Definitely. We should be careful if we have to drive anywhere.

John: I was planning on shoveling the driveway later. Do you want to help?

Karen: Sure, I can give you a hand.

John: I hope the power doesn't go out.

Karen: Me too, we should probably charge our phones just in case.

John: What about food? Do we have enough in case we get stuck inside?

Karen: I think so, we can make some hot soup or chili.

John: I heard that some people are without power already.

Karen: That's really unfortunate. We should count ourselves lucky.

John: Do you think the snow will be gone by Christmas?

Karen: I hope so, I don't want to have a white Christmas.

John: I love it when it's snowing outside, it's so peaceful.

Karen: It is nice, as long as you don't have to go anywhere.

John: Maybe we should build a snowman later.

Karen: That sounds like fun, I haven't done that in years.

John: Let's make some hot chocolate to warm up afterwards.

Karen: Sounds like a plan.
